Our Dance and Gymnastics Facility

Faulkner's facility is equipped with the most updated equipment of today and designed for preschoolers up to competitive and elite gymnasts. A closed circuit monitoring system, will allow you to watch your child's class on a monitor in the lobby.

Our Location

Gymnastics

Faulkner's staff is well trained, enthusiastic and experienced in all aspects of the sport of gymnastics. Equipment includes: Olympic Size Foam Filled Pit and Spring Floor, Spring Tumbling Strip, Olympic Balance Beams and Training Beams, Vaulting Table with Olympic Run, Level 4 Vaulting System, Olympic Sets of Uneven Bars, Mirrors, Rings and Pit Bar.

We are members of USA Gymnastics and Safety Certified as well as CPR and First Aid Certified. Faulkner's Gymnastics program accepts students from beginner to Elite Status. Elite Status is the highest Level of gymnastics.

Uneven Bars
Are an artistic gymnastics apparatus. It is made of a metal or steel frame and the bars are made of wood, plastic or composite materials. The uneven bars are used only by female gymnasts

Vaulting Table
The gymnast run down a runway which is usually padded and carpeted. They hurdle onto the springboard and springs onto the vault. Both male and female gymnasts perform the vault.

Spring Floor
Spring floors contain springs or rubber foam and plywood combination which make up the spring floor. Both male and female gymnasts use the floor.

Rings
It is traditionally used only my male gymnasts, due to its extreme upper-body strength requirements. The rings are only performed by male gymnasts.

Balance Beam
The beam is long, narrow beam which is typically raised from the floor on a leg or stand at both ends. The balance beam is only performed by female gymnasts.

Dance

Faulkner's 5 Dance Rooms include the most updated floors and equipment of today and designed for preschoolers up to adult. Faulkner's staff are well-trained, enthusiastic and experienced in all aspects of the sport dance. The dance rooms include Sprung Floors, Top of the Line Sound, Mirrors and Ballet Bars.

Sprung Floors
Floors that absorb shocks giving it a softer feel. These floors are considered the best available for dance and physical education. They enhance performance and greatly reduce injuries. Sprung floors are supported by a foam backing.
