Faulkner's Gymnastics has the premier recreational gymnastics program in the area. Our kid friendly facility and atmosphere, combined with our exceptional program and teaching staff, make our recreational gymnastics program the best in the business. Faulkner's recreational gymnastics classes have been at full capacity for several years now in the large part to the "word of mouth" advertising of our satisfied customers! Gymnasts will be introduced to bars, vault, balance beam and floor exercise. Strength, flexibility and coordination will be major areas of concentration for safety and performance. Recreation classes meet a minimum of 45 minutes to 1 hour per week. Parents are welcome to add more than 1 class per week.

Below you will find a brief description of the many classes that we have to offer at Faulkner's Gymnastics:

Parent and Tot Classes

Children 18 months to 2 ½ years old

One parent per child is required to attend classes. We ask that no more than one adult per child participate. Too many parents makes our floor over crowded and we have other classes to consider. These classes focus on teaching toddlers how to follow basic instructions, listening, and taking turns in group play. The children will, with assistance, be introduced to basic tumbling skills and loco-motor skills, as well as the gymnastics apparatus including the balance beam, bars, floor and vault. We enjoy keeping our busy bodies wiggling and giggling as they are introduced to gymnastics at Faulkner's Gymnastics.

Pre-School Classes

Within our Fun learning environment we have incorporated vital components of learning: consistency, repetition, challenges and risk. The value of association becomes an intricate part of the learning process. Children who relate fun with challenges, risk and learning are more likely to carry the enjoyment of learning into their adult lives. Faulkner's Gymnastics program is strategically planned to meet these goals.

Our prime objective is to have FUN! We do not hide or disguise the fact that fun plays a vital role in our curriculum. Sometimes parents fail to realize the importance of fun in a learning environment. People often feel that when fun is present, learning is not. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Girls' and Boys' Recreational Gymnastic Classes

Students in these classes will develop gymnastics skills utilizing all the gymnastics apparatus including the uneven bars, balance beam, floor and vault. Our curriculum at Faulkner's Gymnastics focuses on building upon basic skills to perfect and learn new, more challenging skills. As students remain with us year after year, there is consistently a review of previously learned skills while new skills are being taught.

At Faulkner's Gymnastics we offer an extremely strong recreational gymnastics facility, all students can enjoy classes without the undue pressure of competitive gymnastics. Students can experience learning gymnastics in a safe environment, which promotes teamwork and respect among its students and staff. Come join the gymnastics fun at Faulkner's Gymnastics.

Tumbling & Acrobatic Classes
